I can say that I have learned a lot throughout my year in media class. I learned a great amount of skills that will be useful to me in the future, such as operating a camera and using After Effects. However, I believe that Premiere Pro will help me more than anything else. So far, I have had to create many videos throughout my education. I used to use iMovie, but my ability to use Premiere Pro will allow me to produce videos of a much greater quality. I imagine that my ability to use Premiere Pro will assist me throughout high school.

Even though I have gained many skills, I believe that I have grown personally as well. I would say that media class made me become more responsible, as responsibility was very important in order to create a product by a certain deadline. Media class also taught me to be more patient when trying to learn something new. When I was learning the basics of After Effects, I had to be patient with myself, as I would often make a tiny mistake that would mess up the whole project.

In conclusion, I am glad that I decided to participate in media class, as not only did it let me develop useful skills, but it allowed me to grow personally as well.
